Every hyperbaric credential starts with the IBHBOT Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine course. Your license decides which credential you apply for. None of them is a license.
Hyperbaric Credentials
Complete the Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine course and receive a certificate of completion. Then apply to the board for the credential your license qualifies you for.

What a Credential Is Not
No IBHBOT credential is a license. None grants a scope of practice. Every holder works within any license they hold, under the medical direction and policies of their facility. A non-licensed AHT works under the license and direction of the hyperbaric physician.
One Rule
You apply for the credential your license supports, and only that one. A nurse applies for the nurse credential, not the technician credential. An EMT may apply for the technician credential or the DMT.
